I finally obtained a pack of birth control pills from my wonderful primary care physician. I found her within a California subsidized health care system. I could not be more grateful to live in a state where I have access to quality health care as a self-employed artist. I’m also grateful to live in a state with access to birth control as well as safe, legal abortions.
